Transforming into Social Media Spirit

The transformation to social media in our world is taking place.  Many are still non believers and either think it is not an important tool to use to get your message across or too risky to attempt.  This is understandable because change does not come fast but is more of a transformation than a quick change.  It is hard to slow down the need for someone to buy something to keep the oxygen running through a business infrastructure.  A company barely making ends meet is hard to be patience with the social and relationship aspect of social media.

We must stick together for those we believe that social media is the way to reach out to this world through words, images, video and helpful links that will be helpful to provide where they can not get anywhere else.

Traditional Media still has its place but needs to have the spirit of social media combined with it.

It is one thing to know the structure of social media but an even more importance is contained in knowing the spirit of social media.  Relationship are 1st.  Trust takes some time and this take providing gifts of information without any initial expectation of gain.

This is just one aspect of the social media growth.

Social Media for Business Results

Social Media is not just about a social conversation that lead to no where.  If done properly with a human spirit touch, it can generate a call to action from people who know you, you trust in you, like what you says and do, along with meeting a specific need (niche) that they desire to have in their time frame and motivation.  People can not stand it when they feel like there are being sold(manipulated), but love the sensation of buying.  Consumers are in control and have huge amounts of tools to look into what they want to buy.

It is the way of the world.

My dear co-host and friend, Keith Gunther (Guys Talk Time) has coined the phrase "The world is going to a "brick and mortar  to a click & order" mentally. Keith is so right.  Let's us not lose the human touch in this transformation. We should not be being alone in front of a computer all the time.  Mobile technology allows you to be out and about.  Ever still, lets put them down and make eye contact with one another.
